Netizen’s harsh words against group 2PM’s leader Park Jaebum’s words from 4 years ago went up.
Through this evil act of misinterpretation, even until now, there is a lot of surprise (about Jaebum’s words).
When Jaebum wrote those words, he was a trainee and could not adjust to Korea’s culture.
His expression to his friend about the gap between cultures was not considered and was reported, and though he himself acknowledged and apologized for his young and thoughless years and actions, he was not given time to reflect.
On September 8th, Park Jaebum, through his official fancafe, wrote about his position, and despite his 4 years of hard work, he returned to America without an official announcement.
Because of the all too sudden decision in 4 days, his supported fans could not just accept his ‘withdrawal’, fans took wind and became angry at JYPE’s irresponsible and non-aggressive attitude towards protecting their own company’s singer.
On 2009. 09. 10, through an official website, upon not being able to agree with 2PM’s producer JYP’s position, fans poured their thoughts and created this official statement.
ONE. We do not accept the position of the company to let 2PM’s leader ‘Park Jaebum’ to withdraw.
ONE. We do not accept any other unit without 2PM’s leader ‘Park Jaebum’
These fans who have supported 2PM so far,
Including 2PM’s ‘Park Jaebum’
We supported a group with ‘Kim Junsu’, ‘Nichkhun’, ‘Ok Taecyeon’, ‘Jang Wooyoung’, ‘Lee Junho’, ‘Hwang Chansung’,
So if even one member is missing, we cannot accept any promotions as 2PM (without Jaebum)
ONE. If Leader Park Jaebum is not included, afterwords we will declare a boycott and all fans will unite concerning this and talk about our opinions about this situation.
